The multi-musicianed 1964 lp now includes just as many additional
tracks, several of which are solo ballad-oriented and better balance
the bouncy album. Musicians include Tedham Porterhouse (alias Bob
Dylan), John Herald, Eric Weissberg, Bill Lee, Ian Tyson, and John
Hammond, Jr.
"At My Window" sounds a sprightly
country rendition of lyrics thought unrecorded before Billy Bragg
& Wilco studied them for Mermaid Avenue [1998].
Jack's take demonstrates knowledge of Woody's arrangement (now available
on The Asch Recordings, Volume 4 [1999].)
Inspect reviews, herded in from all over.
