Ramblin' Jack to Join Nell Robinson at The Freight & Salvage June 15th for PBS Shoot

Hello Folks!  Mr. Elliott is on his way back from a 3 week tour of Oklahoma, Missouri, Louisiana and Texas with some fantastic shows under his belt and great visits with Jerry Jeff Walker, National Rodeo Pro Larry Mahan - and a cast of characters that have been friends of Jack's for many years. 

Welcome back Jack! :)

June 1st RJE heads up to the Center for the Arts in Grass Valley in the beautiful Tahoe foothills and opening for him will be Nell Robinson and Jim Nunally - new friends! -  to celebrate their duet CD release "House & Garden" - street date May 28th.

In addition, a very special event, Ramblin' Jack will also join Nell Robinson for a PBS shoot 'Rose in No Man's Land' on June 15th at the Freight & Salvage in Berkeley, California.  (Jack's on Nell's new recording project being produced by Joe Henry - Joe produced Jack's Grammy winning release "A Stranger Here in 2009 for the Anti label.) 

Nell Robinson and the Rose of No Man’s Land is a special evening of music and storytelling curated by Alabama native, Nell Robinson. The show will be filmed live for a PBS special slated to air in the Fall.

Special Guests:  two-time Grammy Winner Ramblin’ Jack Elliott; actor, poet and musician John Doe; distinguished author Maxine Hong-Kingston; and acclaimed actor/director Julian Lopez Morillas.

All Star Band:  Bluegrass stalwarts Jim Nunally (guitar), Keith Little (mandolin, mandola) and Sam Grisman (string bass), master of all-things stringed Craig Eastman (fiddle, slide guitar) and jazz percussionist Zach Harmon. 

The evening will also spotlight local outreach, Berkeley Food & Housing Projects Homeless Veterans Program.
